N.C. State Slams Duke 13-3
 RALEIGH,
NC -- N.C. State drubbed Duke on Wednesday night by a score
of 13-3. The Wolfpack jumped out a 3-0 lead after one period
and never looked back.
After scoring three in the first, NC State hung six goals
on Duke in the second. Duke could only manage one goal through
two periods, a Luke
Wolin tally, and the game was out of reach for the
Blue Devils after two periods.
The final period was a formality. Duke got goals from Jesse
Swanko and Calvin
Hui in the final frame. Duke hopes to regroup for
its road trip to Kentucky this weekend.
GAME NOTES
Duke finished the season with a 1-3 record (0-3 ACCHL) against
NC State... NC State will be the top seed in the ACCHL Playoffs
and Duke will be seeded third. Duke will face Virginia on
February 22 in the semifinals.
