The Duke Blue Devils opened up their season with a 6-0 win over Appalachian State and an 8-0 win over rival UNC.
The Blue Devils traveled to north to play two ACCHL opponents in Virginia and Virginia Tech. After beating UVA 6-1 on Friday, Duke outlasted Virginia Tech 3-2 Saturday night.
The Blue Devils came away with two victories in their Home and Home with the Liberty Flames this weekend. On Friday, the team traveled to LaHaye Ice Center and won 4-3. Playing at home on Saturday, the Devils edged the Flames 6-4.
The Blue Devils beat ACCHL foe NC State 4-1 on Friday to move to 4-0 in the league.
The Blue Devils traveled to Atlanta, GA to take on out of conference foes Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech. After a long day of travel, the Devils fell 8-5 to Kennesaw. The next night, the Blue Devils won 4-3 in a shootout thriller.
The Blue Devils skated to a 22-1 victory over ACCHL opponents George Mason, extending their league winning streak to 5.
The Blue Devils closed 2007 with an unlucky 6-5 loss to Virginia in which the puck simply would not bounce their way. The Blue Devils open 2008 with the Canes' Cup against Virginia Tech, Rhode Island College, and NC State.
