In their first game back from Winter Break, the Blue Devils faced Virginia Tech in the opening game of the Canes Cup. After regulation and overtime did not yield a winner, the game went to a shootout. The Blue Devils won the shootout 3-2 behind goals from Kevin Hatala, Marc Perez, and Kyle Silver and stellar saves from netminder Steve Galanis.

On Friday, February 29th, 2008 at Triangle Sportsplex, Duke Hockey will have an alumni game. All alumni are encouraged to attend! The teams will be determined based on the number of alumni who inform us that they are returning. Please email aaron.lerner@duke.edu if you are interested in playing.

The Blue Devils traveled to Atlanta, GA to take on out of conference foes Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech. After a long day of travel, the Devils fell 8-5 to Kennesaw. The next night, the Blue Devil's won 4-3 in a shootout thriller. |

The Blue Devils came away with two victories in their Home and Home with the Liberty Flames this weekend. On Friday, the team traveled to LaHaye Ice Center and won 4-3. Playing at home on Saturday, the Devils edged the Flames 6-4. |
The Blue Devils traveled to north to play two ACCHL opponents in Virginia and Virginia Tech. After beating UVA 6-1 on Friday, Duke outlasted Virginia Tech 3-2 Saturday night.

The Duke Blue Devils opened up their season with a 6-0 win over Appalachian State and a 8-0 win over rival UNC. This upcoming weekend, the Blue Devils travel to take on league opponents UVA and Virginia Tech.
